“A Message from Jesus to MAGA Christians: Realigning Your Hearts with God’s Love”

One prime example is the “MAGA Christian” movement, which has aligned itself with a particular political ideology and policies. I offer this hypothetical message from Jesus to MAGA Christians, urging them to reevaluate their priorities and realign their hearts with the timeless principles of love, compassion, and unity that are central to our faith. The separation of church and state is fundamental in a democratic society for precisely this reason — when religion becomes too intertwined with politics, it can distort both faith and governance. This separation ensures that no single religious viewpoint dominates the political sphere and that individuals are free to practice their beliefs without undue influence on public policy.
